Ben proposed to Sarah on a date to The Cloisters and she wasn't expecting it!
Ben had planned the perfect moment to propose to Sarah. He knew that planning something special and unexpected would make it extra memorable, so he choice The Cloisters. The gorgeous Italian-style outdoor garden was known famously for its blooms and statues, making it the backdrop. When Ben finally pulled out that beautiful diamond ring, she was ready and eager for this start of their next phase in life together! They had a beautiful backdrop that included the architecture of The Cloisters, the Hudson River, and a landscape in peak fall foliage.
They had several special moments to themselves before their family joined them.
Sarah and Ben had a few moments alone before Ben's family arrived. You could see the joy radiating from their faces, and I was thrilled to be able to be part of this special event. It was beautiful and sweet.
Unknown to Sarah, Ben had flown in her family from Texas to be part of the proposal.
There were still a few more surprises left in the day. Unbeknownst to Sarah, Ben had flown in her family from Texas so they could be on hand to be part of the celebration. When her parents, her sister, and her brother-in-law appeared, Sarah was completely surprised! What a mix of surprise and joy!
We wish them the best of luck as they plan their wedding.
We are overwhelmed with joy for Ben and Sarah as they embark on this new journey of marriage. To share such a romantic and special moment together at The Cloisters is something that will remain a treasured memory for the rest of their lives. Every part of this event was special, and I am so happy to have had a small part in it!
