Rooftop Wedding Proposal | New York City Photographer | Sandra + Alan

Sandra and Alan's NYC Rooftop Engagement was certainly one of the best engagements I've witnessed! Alan's execution was absolutely flawless, and it was truly and incredible surprise.

Proposal Preparation

Sandra and Alan's romantic rooftop proposal in New York City was a beautiful surprise! To prepare for the proposal, Alan made sure to find the perfect spot with views of both One World Trade Center and uptown. He rented out a spectacular rooftop which had an incredible panoramic view of the city. It was truly breathtaking.

Surprise

Neither Sandra nor Alan are from New York. Alan was supposed to be in Chicago, and Sandra was visiting friends in New York City. Alan prepared the space with photographs, flower petals, champagne, and he framed all of this perfectly with the skyline. He timed the proposal with golden hour, and Mother Nature delivered! Everything was perfect - the air, the sky, the light.

The Proposal

Sandra and her friends were going to head up to the rooftop for a few drinks before they were going to head out. But, when they opened the door to head outside, her friends stayed back, and then she saw Alan at the end of a white carpet waiting for her. This moment was so special.

Friends and Family

After Sandra and Alan spent some time together, their friends and family arrived. We had the opportunity to take some images as the sun was setting.

Sandra and Alan's NYC Rooftop Engagement was truly a magical experience. From the surprise proposal to the stunning skyline, it was an evening they will never forget! It proved that with careful planning and thoughtful execution, you can create something beautiful no matter where your location may be. This romantic rooftop engagement is inspirational!
